   Thanks for using or trying our software products, at this point you have successfully installed our EasyMenu Version 3.01 runtime software product or you're looking for instructions on how to install the EasyMenu 3.01 and the Software Application that came with it. 1st, let us review the EasyMenu 3.01 software product. It is a runtime and prerequisite for all software products that we develop and distribute. This product installs and runs all of our custom business software applications. After installing this product, you then install the software application that is shipped or downloaded with this package from within EasyMenu 3.01.
 
Section I, Installing EasyMenu 3.01
If you have already installed EasyMenu 3.01, then skip to Section II
  1. Insert the EasyBee Software CD into your CD-Drive

  2. Select Start/Run/Browse to locate the CD and double click the Setup.exe file.

  3. Follow the instructions to complete installation.

Section II, Installing Applications
You're now ready to startup EasyMenu v3.00 and install the software application.
Instructions below apply to these Software Application products:
  • ProServe II

  • ProServe II PLUS

  • ProFrame I

  • r.ProShop I

  • ProCheck-AP

Start EasyMenu 3.01 either by double clicking the EasyMenu Icon located on your desktop
or by selecting Start/Programs/EasyBee Software/EasyMenu.
 
Run Setup To:
  • Install the software application on a Server or Single computer.

  • Setup a Client (User ID) to access the installed application.

  • Setup Menu Options for this Client.

  1. Highlight the option Setup and select Run.
  2. Highlight the Software Product to install and select Next.
  3. Read the License Agreement, you must agree to continue.
  4. Select the Installation Type
Server Type:
Select this type to install the application on a Server or Single computer for the 1st time.
Client Type:
Select this type to setup access for a Client or modify a clients menu options.
  • Use the Enter or Tab key to move from one field to the next to activate the next field.
  • Enter your company name and address, this becomes the default information when adding new companies to the company menu.
  • Use the pull-down to select the Source Drive letter, this should be the CD-Drive letter that the EasyBee Software CD is inserted or download location.
  • Enter a Target Drive and Path, this is where the application files will be installed. We recommend that you accept the default drive and path unless you're a network administrator.
  • Preview the Menu Options and turn on or off.
  • Select the Install button to install. It is necessary to Tab past the Target Drive to activate the Install button.
  • Use the Enter or Tab key to move from one field to the next to activate the next field.
  • Enter a Map Network Drive and Path, this is where the application files are located on your Server or Local computer.
  • If running a single computer, this is the same drive and path entered in the Target Drive and Path during Server Type installation.
  • If running a network, this is either the local path or mapped drive and path. If your not sure accept the default.
  • Preview the Menu Options and turn on or off.
  • Select the Install button to install. It is necessary to Tab past the Map Network Drive to activate the Install button.

 

  1. Highlight the Product and select Run.

  2. Highlight the Sample Company and select Load.

  3. At the Log In screen, Use the password MASTER.

How to Purchase this software product: Support:
Audio Presentation
If you're installing ProServe II or ProServe II PLUS using the CD, you can run the audio presentation located on the CD.
  1. Insert the EasyBee Software CD into your CD Drive.
  2. You should be running the ProServe II Series product during this presentation.
  3. Select the Sample Company 96 to follow alone.
  4. Minimize the ProServe II Series application.
  5. Double Click My Computer or Windows Explorer.
  6. Locate your CD drive and double click it
  7. Locate the folder called Software and double click it.
  8. Locate the Folder called Audio and double click it.
  9. Locate the Wave file called Audio01 and double click it.
  10. Use the Pause and Stop button on your media player.
  11. When the 1st section has completed, locate the next Audio file and double click it.
  12. There is 4 section to this presentation. Audio01, Audio02, Audio03 and Audio04
Advanced User's Installation
  • Network: EasyMenu v3.01 is the only product you need to install on each client. Then run Setup and select Client Installation Type. A UserID License is required for each client.
  • To Re-Install EasyMenu, run the Un-Install program form your Control Panel Add/Remove Programs first, then re-install EasyMenu.
  • UserID License, is assigned to a Client upon Startup of ProServe, to reset a Client Delete the file c:\easybee\pcuserid.dbf form local drive. Then startup ProServe from the client and select an open UserID License number to assign to this client.
  • EasyMenu Installation, you cannot just copy the folder EasyBee from one computer to another to by-pass EasyMenu installation. You must install EasyMenu on each client to access across your network.
  • FoxPro users, please run this application from the EasyMenu.exe not from the FoxPro command window.
  • Custom Reports, to add custom programs to the ProServe Menu System, Append to a file called PCCUSTOM.DBF, fields “descrip” = Description, “call” = Program to call. Custom Report looks in the Default path of where ProServe is installed. See Help in ProServe for more information on Custom Reports.
  • To Un-Install this software, select Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel and select EasyBee Software or EasyMenu v3.01 to un-install. Then from My Computer or Explorer select and Delete folder EasyBee from your local C Drive. If you changed the default folder for this application during setup you would need to delete that folder.
